Couple Therapy is a space for two hearts.

There are so many things we find hard to talk about in relationships: boundaries, feelings, values, trust, love, disappointment, sex, wants, needs, and desires… Our hope in working with couples is to create a space for the two hearts to feel safe to open up, express, hear, see, and understand each other.

We help our clients……

  • Communicate their boundaries as an expression of love, as oppose to defense
  • Grow trust in one another through communication and mutual understanding
  • See, hear, and understand each other more deeply
  • Respect and appreciate the differences between one another
  • Talk about difficult topics with honesty and compassion
  • Discuss plans and decisions that are complex and hard
  • Explore vulnerability and barriers that keep two hearts from growing more intimately
  • Talk about sexual desires and difficulties
  • Communicate similarities and differences in expectations and values

Family Therapy is a space where family members hear and learn to understand each other and heal the family as a system.

As much it is a place where we call home, it can also be a place where healing is most needed. In family, we can know each other so well, and at the same time find communicating with each other being the hardest thing in the world. Our hope in working with families is to create a space where family members can feel safe and supported to express themselves, see and understand each other as humans, understand the dynamic of the family and each person’s role in it.

We help our clients……

  • Develop communication skills and styles that facilitate mutual understanding
  • Cultivate a family space where communication feels safer
  • See the family dynamic and each member’s role in it.
  • Learn ways to talk about and listen to each other’s difficult feelings
  • Communicate their boundaries as an expression of love
  • Grow the capacity to see, understand, and respect each other as people
  • Respect and appreciate the differences between one another
  • Talk about difficult topics with openness and compassion
  • Discuss plans and decisions that are complex and hard
  • Communicate similarities and differences in expectations and values
